White Sneaker Trend

If you listen to seasonal forecasts that are predicted by animals, you've probably heard that according to Punxsutawney Phil Spring is around the corner. Once the snow melts and its no longer cold enough for Uggs, the most common shoe you will see this Spring and Summer will most likely be white Converse. 

For the past year, white Converse have made a huge comeback. They're neutral, go with almost anything and are extremely comfortable. Girls wear them with anything: shorts, jeans, leggings and even skirts and dresses. 

I love cute, comfortable shoes but I also didn't want to buy the same pair of white gym shoes that every girl has. 

For Christmas this year, I asked my mom Santa to bring me Adidas Originals. 

I had seen some girls on Instagram styling outfits with Adidas Originals and I was obsessed. I felt like I had heard some amazing style secret, since most girls still were wearing white Converse. I figured I would look so "cool" and "on trend" wearing these and that not many people would know about them. 

I found out I was wrong when my mom Santa could only find them in a size too big for me because they were sold out everywhere. I didn't care the size and got them anyway, so you will probably see me clunking around with them on at some point during the semester. 

These other shoes and outfits are what I would buy if I won the lottery. These are on trend for Spring and will work into Summer, but different than the sea of white Converse and Adidas Originals you'll end up seeing this year. Time to go buy my lottery ticket and hope that Illinois can afford to pay when I win!
